Okies, here we go.

 

Just bought a 2010 2.0 TDi L&K, after owning a 2006 Elegance, (See Hello and Goodbye page) and have noticed that the dip beam is of the xenon type which adjust automatically, whereas the main beam are more of a yellow colour, I presume standard bulbs.

 

So the question is, I need matching main beam bulbs, or something similar.

 

Ideas?

No you don't! You may be enough of a fashion victim to think you need them, but no-one else should ever see that they don't match the dip.

There are various "Blue tinge" halogen bulbs available such as Osram cool blue , Philips diamond vision, Bosch pure light etc......

 

At the moment LED replacements are illegal.

 

 

Just put some 55w white bulbs in that I had lying about to see how they fair for colour. If I am satisfied they are what I want, then I may invest in some more expensive branded type.
