Skoda Octavia vRS 2010 FL petrol CCZA - Front Brake Identification

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've read as many old threads as I can find - without success !!

Skoda Octavia vRS 2010 FL petrol CCZA - hatchback - with 282mm Lucas rear brakes - BUT what have I got on the front ??

The rotors are 312mm diameter discs are 23mm thick - but have been used for a while - probably 25mm when new.

The caliper is piston is 56m diameter. do i need the 1LL type or the 1LP-1ZB type ???

Thanks,

Malc

From the above information, if the car was manufactured on or after 25.05.2009 it will have build code 1ZB.

There doesn't appear to be much difference between the front brakes of build code 1LL and 1ZB. ATE sell exactly the same front brake pads for both 5K0698151 and 3C0698151C OEM part numbers.

Thank you !!!

I've had the pads off ( which I got from a Skoda dealer) had 300 615 115c - which I now realise is actually  3C0 615 115c very faint on the back - which then points to https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/2235445424   and gets me to 3C0698151c !!!

I have wasted days on this !!
