Regional variations

Featured Replies

I'll apologize in advance if this trends to one of those "use the search function" type of threads, but as a newbie to the forum, and Skoda's in general, I'm a little confused.

I've had my 2.0TSi L&K for about a month now, and really do like it, but the spec is a little curious to me.

The car is a brand new 2021, with the usual expected facelift accoutrements etc etc, however, it has a 6spd DSG (not 7 spd) and a CJX engine code. I'm assuming it's just a regional peculiarity (I live in Bahrain) but would like to understand what I have should I ever decide to go down the road of an ECU/TCU tune etc at some point.
Can I assume with the CJX engine code that it's a non-GPF car? Can I assume the 6 spd would indicate it's a DQ250?

The thoughts/knowledge of the wider audience would be appreciated in my quite obvious lack of familiarity here.
