Timing chain replacement now new issue

Took my car to a garage they diagnosed trimming chain they replaced that aswell as cam sensor, cam sprocket and v belt, they have us car back didn't even drive 5 miles eml back on sent back to them they never said what issue was have us car back same thing drove 5 miles and the car just wouldn't go it kept pulling back they have now run another diagnostic and said code p2015 is coming up and is an issue with pipework and solenoid / cannister they are saying this is why the timing chain went and that they are not liable for this issue surely this would of come up.when they first diagnosed the timing chain? Any help much appreciated, picture of what their diagnostic was after the timing chain

I don't know much about your situation specifically - but can you get a VCDS scan at all?

It often reveals a lot more info and you may be able to try some things.

They've checked the wiring and pipework at least, so that does rule some things out.

I found 2 posts below (one where someone ran an adaptation and it still failed - but no follow ups).. Is this the original intake manifold?

 

 

 

If there's an evap problem in addition to timing chain issues 2 x problems but should of diagnosed both in one go and fixing both whilst in repair quote.

 

Edit reading diagnosis the kns they've listed is p2015 which will require a new intake manifold. Not cheap. 

 

Anyway ask them not to charge you for diagnosis a second time did they see p2015   when doing the original diagnosis? If so it's a bit of a con to come back for a second hit!
