Hi All

Just re-intrduced myself heres

Hi All

I havent been here since I had a Mk2 Superb Elegance

Since then Ive had an Opel Insignia which I was quite fond of but changed it in for an Audi A4 Ultra SE Sport which i hated.

So it wasnt long before I was looking to change again

So I organised with my local dealer to import this L&K Superb estate for me.

The day it arrived on these shores I was informed that I was being made redunant,

So after many nights trying to justify the argument to still take the car I decided to let it go.

So a few months later while still in Audi ownership I spotted this for sale at a Skoda Dealership at an amazing sale price so i went for it.

Its not an L&K but it still has alot of toys and full leather.

Plus its not a 2.0 which I no longer need but a 1.6 Diesel so suits my needs better

Heres the L&K Estate I had to walk away from

Vacuum seats, then warm damp cloth go over the seats, let it dry.

then use https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/gliptone-liquid-leather-cleaner

I use this on a cloth, rub in with cloth or leather brush if needed, leave for about 5 minutes.

Wipe over with a warm damp cloth again, let it dry

Then apply

https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/gliptone-liquid-leather-conditioner-250ml

I personally put this on the leather directly and rub in using bare hands and leave at least 24 hours before driving.

I only use this as I love the smell of leather and this is top notch and smell lasts for ages.

A word of warning on the smell, your hands will smell like you’ve fisted a cow for a good few days 🤪

When you get in your car, you can use a fresh micro fibre cloth and go over the seats lightly as there will be a bit of a sheen but after use it’ll go a nice matte finish just how leather should be.

Leather purists say just use warm soapy water but I love the smell of leather so use this.

I can just about see your front seats looks shiney which suggests oils on the surface so a good clean will make it look pucker

Auto finesses, use their leather cleaner with a medium stiff brush, once it’s soaked, brushed, wipe clean and see all the brown dirt flow.

then use their conditioner or ceramic coating to fully protect the seats.
