Mib3 satnav map update to usb stick

I have downloaded the Mib3 map update from the portal, however I am not too tech savvy and it states to after unpacking the from a zip file to the paste contents not usb flash drive but not the entire folder. There appears to a lot of folders, can anyone help me understand what I need to do before I mess up.

After extracting the files, you will see a lot of folders . As shown on step 5 in the pdf.

Copy ALL of those folders directly to your empty flash drive.

You can not mess it up. It is either gonna work or not.

Connect your usb stick to the infotainment , go to setting and tap on update.

If the update starts your flash driver was correctly setup

I've tried this, and it's not working for me. I've tried a few USB-c adapters, no luck.

I also purchased a USB-C drive, but still no luck.

 

I just had the 1 year service done at the dealer, and asked them to update the maps, and they said they could not as they were having 'problems' with their system/computers... They advised I could come back in the 'future' and get it done, it will take about an hour..

 

So, I think there is something bigger going on with updating the maps on MIB3... unless anybody else has been successful?
