Reversing light(s)

Featured Replies

My Enyaq 60 appears to have only one reversing light (on the driver side).

It doesn't throw out much illumination.

So, two questions:

1. Should there be a reversing light on both the nearside and the offside of the car ?

2. If there's just the one reversing light, can anything done to increase the brightness ?

The driver manual doesn't even mention reversing lights !

if it's the same as my Kodiaq and other current Skodas...

1. correct unless you've ticked a box for some sort of 'upgrade' (eg reversing camera)

2. not as far as I can make out

Yes there is only one reversing light, I think you get two if you go for the lighting upgrade which I didn't.

If its lack of illumination for the reversing camera that's a problem for you then try changing the display settings to max brightness and almost minimum contrast while the reversing camera is being displayed. It dramatically improves the view.

Worked for me, decent illumination now.
