Featured Replies

Is it possible to get youtube on my screen, i can get my galaxy phones music on it but thats it....any ideas.

It’s illegal in most countries hence why it’s pretty hard locked and prevented.

that being said a android phone with android auto can be hacked to do it

Just don’t do it whilst driving

I just thought it would come in handy when i am parked in sainsburys waiting for her indoors, But then again my battery is bad enough in the car without adding to it.

Now that your idea is posted on the internet (forever) and despite it being "just for Sainsbury's" if you have an accident 'THEY' will obviously check t'internet about you, and also check that no Video In Motion is possible, and it is a routine check for VIM along with mobile phone records here in Merseyside - and I doubt Merseyside is ahead in this respect.

I listen to most music through YouTube. I’d want it just for that.

On my old Android phone, I was able to use Mirrorlink to show YouTube on the infotainment screen.

Watching a video on YouTube.....

Newer phones don't seem to work with Columbus's Mirrorlink now.

I haven't bothered with it for 3 yrs now.

i am a 60 year old who had an old berlingo van before this car, so the DAB radio is brilliant for me :D

I've just ordered one (Apple pie mini) so will post some thoughts up once it makes it over here, most likely early Jan.

Arrived, installed, sounds good - need some more tweaking time and haven't tested the pass-through Android Auto (wireless) option yet, but initial thoughts are positive.

When I say "installed", it's literally just plug and play to get up and running in a basic way - plug into USB exactly the same way you would with a phone, then it pops up as a CarPlay device after a few seconds and you're off.

How much was the plug and where did you get it.
