Hi guys the wife has just arrived home and shown me a video of the temp gauge going up and down . It goes up half way to 90 then drops . It will just bounce up and down . I haven't had any work done on the cooling side if the car. It had a a rad fitted around 4 years ago and the timing belt and pump done then too and it's done about 20k since then . I did have a break in the loom around then too which was repaired as it kept throwing temp sensor fault up even after I replaced both sensors. The car has thrown up eml from time to time in the last couple of weeks but isn't storing a fault. Is this just a possible iffy temp sensor or will I need to get it left to the mechanic for a look?

Common issue on DSG cars. Which do you have ?
