Afternoon all,

Just joined up in the hope of finding some technical help (I know, I'll head to the right forum section shortly!), so I guess I'd best introduce myself. 

I'm Neil, and I've had my 2007 Fabia 1.4 diesel for about 5 years. Wife had one previously that got written off, so when my big old Audi needed replacing, I got my Fabia.

I'm really into much older cars, had aircooled VWs since I was 17 (in the mid 90s!) and drag raced them for several seasons, done ground up restorations on them and I'm even building one at school with my pupils, so obviously welding and mechanical work holds little fear for me. Its just all those wires...

Anyway, I'm based just outside Kidderminster, which seems to be a hotbed of modified VAG stuff, I've lost count of the number of interesting vehicles I've seen round here!
