Its a strange noise, seems to mainly happen when first started, it's like a flap which is sticking and moving around. I could swear I hear the noise off the Parrot when putting it in. I wanted to see if anyone else found it, just to ensure it ain't the Climate Control, hence the reference to flap noise .

I might try recording it tomorrow.

Heres the noise, I got it to happen by turning on and off the climate fan. I turned it ON then OFF then ON then OFF (just so you know what your listening to )

, only winding you up. So I take it your Climate doesn't sound like this. One of the lads reakons the Mk1 Climate used to sound something similiar (I had A/C)

Lummox, is that the wheeze you are talking about? My skoda dealer looked at the thing and said they make that noise when you shut it off as they work on some sort of vacuum system.

Motor on the way out already ? :eek: Btw what would show up in VAG COM ??? would it register a fault for it or would you have to look at particular values ?

It mainly seems to happen when started, I notice it due to reversing out of driveway, radio muting due to parking sensors and its noticable.

Any other Mk2 owners noticing this ?
