Parking sensors - problem

Featured Replies

Hello,

I own a Karoq with a small problem from the first days of driving. The parking sensors often remain locked on the multimedia screen, even when the speed is over 50km/h and only disappear after a system reset. I was in the service to have it checked, no errors were found, with the recommendation to return if the problem persists. Obviously it persists, today I had 2 more unpleasant experiences in this regard. I'm going to go to the service again, but I wanted to ask here if anyone has had this problem as well and how it was solved?

Many thanks,

Oana

First of all, film the whole thing when it happens (I mean, have a passanger film while driving :)) - at least that way you have something to show on your next service

What happens if when this is happening you turn off the parking sensors (there should be a dedicated button for it above the shifter)?

Hello, thank you for your answer, I already filmed it and showed it to service. So they saw it but had no solution. Also, if I turn off the parking sensors nothing happens, it does not solve the problem. Don't know what else to do. It it frustrating to have to turn off the screen and turn on again every time this happens.
