I have the same, but. Having few stone chips on it I can see silver coating from underneath. Means, it`s just repainted original badge. Not even properly prepared.

Instead of paying 47 euros I would paint it myself.

15 euros and can do every car on your street:

Thanks for letting me know about this, i hadn't  realised. I’ll mention it to the guys PPF-ing mine next week, and see if they can do something to it.

Unless you're planning on replacing the vRS badge on the grille with a black one, I wouldn't bother. I don't understand why they didn't do black badges all round, but to have them mis-matched at one end would look odd. All in my own opinion, of course 🙂.

That shiny silver badge doesn`t fit to black (or blue) RS bonnet at all.

Ordered also black grille badge, but guys at dealership couldn`t remove the original one.

The new badge is different - there is less silver on it (to my eyes) and a chunky black border around it.

 

I'm happy enough with the badging on the car - as I said, it would have been nice to have black badges all around, but it's one of those things that really doesn't bother me nor does it spoil my enjoyment of driving the car whatsoever.

I really like the VRS on the Grill. I’m changing the bonnet to black, and de-badging the tailgate entirely. The VRS in the Grill, is a nice nod towards the style, and the red ties in the with the callipers (with cheese graters removed!) 😄

I removed 4x4 from the tail and all the others replaced with black ones (they were silver at 2019).
