Another TSR Rolling Road Day? 24 June 2006

Featured Replies

I am proposing Saturday 24th June 2006 as another TSR rolling road day....

Need to gauge numbers interested, so add your names below. Its usually around a 9am start, and costs around a tenner (to be confirmed) for two runs up on the rollers. Figures will be at the wheels bhp only, but its a very reliable roller (oldest are the best :D)

Once I get around the mark of 12 - 13 cars, I will book it 100% :)

I'm possibly up for this one.

I'll be curious to see what the new car makes as standard and I might be having a day in Bath that weekend so i could combine the two.

Not a definite but a strong possibility

Would these be the rollers that clocked a standard VRS at 30BHP over book figures

Yup.

They did also measure quite a few other cars as pretty much spot on though.

Mine was measured at spot on there. 190 at the wheels. Lets stop questioning the rollers and see who actually wants to go, eh. :P :D

The only thing they guess is the flywheel power as there's no fixed calculation for it. But its always nice to get a wheels figure - its how the yanks usually do it anyway.

I'll put my really slow standard Fabia vRS on it again

(but this time no Ultimate deisel, just standard Tescos rubbish)

Jason, with the lack of response here should I post it up on SCC and see if we can get a few more takers?

Might be worth it - last time we got a fair bit more so I'm a litle bit sad to see less than half a dozen takers. :(

I've not booked anything yet either, so no real panic etc.

I will let the SCC guys and gals know

Have just PM'd a number of people on SCC about this RR day.

The powers that be have moved your orginal thread david, its now in the 'non scc events section'

I've also put a link in my scc signature.

Cheers Paul

Cheers Paul

TSR is in Bridgewater? I will ask my mate with the Corrado Storm if he wants a shot.

Would love to come along................

But my boss is on holiday that week :(

Enjoy it!!

Jason,

what is the maximum number of cars that TSR can handle in one day on their rollers?

Well, I think its around 20. Sure we had that as a minimum last time, and we even got 2 or 3 passers-by on as well. :)

I'll ring Neal tomorrow to try and secure the day and confirm prices.

Cool

At the moment there looks like there could be around 10 or so from SCC (still awaiting confirmation from a few of them) - I will let you know the exact numbers soon

Right - we're booked in. This is the official Briskoda only list. :) If you can add in a list from SCC - I have to keep them info'd with numbers.

As an aside, it appears Neal has left TSR, so not sure who will be doing all the runs and stuff. Price will be £10 with a possiblity of getting £2 odd off everyone to fund a table full of nibbles, like last time. ;)

24th June is a definite date now though.

Edited to say there's no real "limit" on numbers - just means they'll be there a bit longer, thats all, :)

Sorry, where abouts are they?

Bridgwater - about 30 minutes south of Bristol on the M5. :)

In the county of "zummerzet"

Jason,

I will leave the thread on SCC open for a few more days to see who else signs up and will let you know the final list on Monday. Is this ok?
