Please Help! S .. SE .. SEL .. Elegence .. Amundsen .. Columbus

Featured Replies

Hi there.

I bought a used Octavia 3 Facelift.

The question is how to tell if it is an S, SE, SEL, or on Elegance trim level ?

Mine has a 2.0L TDI and 6-Speeds Manual Gearbox. It has an Led Headlight and LED tail Light. It also has halogen Fog-light. Front and Rear Sensors are there. There is also the cruise control option and Front Radar Assistant System. Keyless entry and ignition.

The infotainment is in the picture attached. I can't tell whether it is an Amundsen or Columbus.

That's a facelift (twin headlights) so it can't be an Elegance as the Elegance was only sold as a pre-facelift model AFAIK.

The Amundsen uses SD cards for the maps, so if sat nav works without an SD card plugged into the main unit in the glovebox then you have a Columbus.

Can't comment on the differences between S, SE & SEL.

Can I tell the difference between Amundsen or Colombus through infotainment version in the settings ?

You can check the model number here

It looks to be a decent spec., (Possibly a SE L with some extra options, the wheels match mine)

But as the OP is in Palestine, would the specs be regional specific?

Edit. Can you find a local MY19 price list on line? Or local (?) Skoda dealer

I don't think so.

They import them randomly here. Mine served in Czech Republic before it has arrived to Palestine.

That answers my question on my edit....

Just had a look at the seats, my SE L has alcantara/leather.

Do the mirrors fold when you lock it?

No they don't, but they have the power-heater option.

Hmm, a UK SE L from MY19 would've had electric folding heated mirrors, auto dipping interior mirror,  alcantara/leather seats, led headlights, Amundsen, rear privacy glass.

But options would've been full rear leds, kessy, front parking sensors and heated seats.

Maybe, a member from Europe (LHD) would know more spec wise?

I have to agree with "Cakemonster" & say it is the SEL version 👍

Columbus is fully touchscreen - you have the Amundsen as you have a couple of twist knobs
