Climatronic air flow button broken

Hi,

While ferrying home our new Fabia (2016 model), I noticed that one of the buttons on the Climatronic controls (toggle airflow towards upper body/cabin) does not work. The button does not depress, and the light inside that button seems dimmer than the other buttons. In the cup holder was a small U-shaped piece of thin plastic about 1-1,5 cm long which looks like it could have come from that button.

Waiting until the registration is finalized and then booking an appointment with our local Skoda service partner.

Anyone with experience of similar issues with the climate control buttons, and how bad was the repair?
