Rear windscreen washers again

Featured Replies

Have had Skoda several times to unblock the washer at the rear which they now say £60 a time. Have always used correct fluid and still it happens . My problem is I cannot get the shroud off the spindle to see the jets clearly . Have used large screwdriver gently prise it up but thought if I give it any more it will split , so how do you guys do it ?.m Looking at previous comments on this problem many have had leaks in boot etc but mine is dry.

I prised my one off. It was tight but cleaned the jets and put it back on . It fell off first time out but was'nt expensive to replace.   £7.50 six years ago from Skoda.

Cheaper than £60 a pop.

Thank you . I did get it off eventually and also managed to clear the blockage, however I would have liked to lift out the nozzles but again did not want to force anything . So how did you take it out ?.

Mine comes out by just lifting the end where the jet balls are by hand........
