SERVICE REMINDER

Featured Replies

Usually receive a reminder from my local Skoda Main Dealer about Service due in 2 or 3 weeks. This year, nothing so far, even though I'm down to 'Due in 11 days' on the in-car system.

Can't help but think that they have spit the 'dummy' out after the noise I made last year on the subject of overcharging for Belt Set scheduled change - including service, cost was £550.

Pretty close to deciding to go to a competent independent this year.

You could just call the dealer and book the service, or if you would prefer book with an independent. The dealer may have enough work on already given possible staff shortages due to covid. They may even have forgotten about last year.

WHY ARE WE SHOUTING????

But in all seriousness, just phone the dealer and book your car in?

Thanks, I can well manage without you two advising me in those tones! It's a good thing you are not saying it within arms length!

Looks like there wasn't an issue with the main dealer anyway. Service Manager claims they sent an email out to me on 31st January ..... but I never received it!

So they are not sore about the roasting they got from me last year.
