White smoke out exhaust

Featured Replies

Hi all,

32k miles 2017 2.0tsi

Booted it this morning, constant white smoke out the back.

Normal driving nothing.

2hrs later of driving, still will do it.

On drive way, tissue over the exhaust, rev it up, only goes to 4k rpm and nothing on tissue.

Possible turbo seals?

More likely condensation.

Well I thought that, so I waited till the end of a 2hr drive so should be well warmed up by then.

But also, outside temp was 6'C

Thanks ords, I should have searched,  but it's never great on phones I find, maybe this forum is ok on a phone. Next time I'll try!

Seems it's the 'mist' just panicked as Ive had other turbo cars with issues with turbo seals
