MK2 Octavia FL Electrics problem

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have searched the forum looking for an answer for this.

Last week my front passenger window reg broke so I have a new one to replace it. Currently I have all electrical connections in the door disconnected at the connections.

As a result I have no heated mirror, LED indicator on mirror, door locks on both passenger doors and the rear window will not work.

So before I go any further into it or before i Have the new panel up and rivetted back on.

Do I have no power due to a "passthrough" on some of the connectors or could the issue be deeper?

All questions and suggestions appreciated.

Thanks.

Mike.

I also forgot to mention that my Leaving Home lights are not working but lights work on Auto and Coming Home setting with no issues.

Interior lights come on when unlocked, glovebox light works.

I cannot fully recall if the illumination on the light selection switch (Off Auto etc) should come on when unlocked, but it currently does not.

Thanks

A lot of things rely on the drivers door control module...

Given your list of issues, it feels like disconnecting it has probably caused most, if not all of them 👍
