Does anyone know the hub nut size and type in a Octavia 2007 1.6?

Should it not be about 36mm, the bolt that secures the hub to the driveshaft?

You are - of course - correct.  I'm on jury service on a long trial and my tired brain insisted on seeing your request as for wheel studs, not hub studs.  Apologies for the confusion and the complete *******s I made of trying to help.

I've updated my post to avoid any confusion.

If it was a nut like in the picture below, it might have used a 36mm socket. But the Octavia MK2 uses a bolt...hence a 24mm bi-hex socket is required.
