These have mostly worked fine on my late 2018 Karoq Amundsen but a few days ago the globe stayed red. The car knows I have a license till 2023.

I looked at the Registration screen this morning which has always said registered but today it asked for a PIN.

I've reset the S Pin and the app tells me I have to register myself with the car and gives me a number to enter in the Registration window. When I do this it keeps saying No Data Link try again later.

The car is connected to the hotspot on the phone which has a 4G connection and has always worked but if the car  won't connect to the internet because I'm not registered but I can't register because it won't connect to the internet  (assuming this is what no data link means) how do I proceed?

I can't recall ever having to enter anything before, it was all registered when I collected it new from the dealer.

Just to update this, for a short while the Registration re-appeared but then went again. I have connected the car to my phone, a usb modem and a further phone using Vodafone, 3 and O2 and they all say No data link when entering the 8 digit activation code.

Have found a very long thread in the Karoq Guides, it would seem this is not uncommon and likely down to incompetence or flaky servers at Skoda.
