What is this gauge marked in kW?

Featured Replies

2 days on and I am still finding things….or not.
Thus time can anyone help as I can find nothing in the manual.

On the virtual cockpit set on Sport there is an icon bottom left looking like a windcreen wiper in action. Then there is a bar next to it which indicates with a moving green bar figures that go up and down from 0-10 marked in kW.
Any ideas what that might be?

?

Is your car an iV / PHEV?

I’ve got that ‘kw’ bar thingy in my 280 too………seems to be an indicator as to how much power is being produced.

Well, the gauge is marked as a power gauge; is the car a hybrid?

Or just an ICE and how much kW/ BHP / PS.    A Nm gauge would be Simply Clever.

Its just a humble 1.5 SE

It shows the KW output of the engine. 0-110 kw for the 1.5.

As above, just output of the engine; kW as a unit of energy rather than anything electricity-specific. Bit odd it not able to be changed to other units such as bhp. Interestingly a mate with Leon Cupra 290 has the same bits a % of max power output.
