Hi everyone.

 

I have the Skoda Octavia RS mk4 and see the convenient entry driver's seat function setting in the infotainment system but I'm not able to enable it. Has anyone managed to get this work?

Do you have electric seats, because I thought this option is the one that allows you to set the seat position depending on which key is used, so that it moves depending on which driver gets in.

Yes, electric memory seats. Nothing moves and the infotainment doesn't allow me to select it.

I have it on. Truth is, that it was already set up as active from previous owner, but the function mean, that after the engine is turn of and you will open the door - seat will go all the way to rear. After going into the car and put ignition on, seats move to your position.

Indeed. Somehow I'm not able to enable on mine. Thanks for sharing. Is yours the mk4 / 2021 Octavia model ?

Yes. About 7 mouths old. Maybe try to ask your dealer. Sometimes they just update sw with same version and it's working (I mean it works sometimes for other issues, dunno if will for this specific one). Or you can check owners manual, what's are the condition to be able to turn it on.

Thanks. The owner's manual describes the function but failed to mention the requirements. Thanks for your inputs tho. Cheers

It's a joy for me too. I could drive around all day in Comfort mode and it will still get me about quickly fast and nicely. On inspired days, it grips like a AWD. 🤣

Yes The car is awesome. We have it in Mamba Green Estate and we love the car. The petrol engine is awesome, interior is  stunning and driving the car is pure joy 😁

Try to reset settings. Perhaps there's a bug from an update.
