The outer boot is starting to split and I checked the J&R webiste which lists only one for the VRs but with different engine codes to my 2005 ASZ.  I called and they couldn't tell me if it would fit. I would guess they are all the same. Did the shaft diameter or any other things change during the production run?

Original part number for outer boot kit for 2005 ASZ is 6Q0 498 203 B

with cv boots, it's best to buy the oem part, most after market cv boots dont last

You cannot get them from Skoda, unfortunately discontinued end of 2021 along with a lot of other Fabia Mk1 parts!
