  No luck finding answer on internet, so I ask you. Do your paddle shifters lights up in the night as all other buttons on the steering wheel? As I was cleaning my car and noticed that + and - on those looks like they have to have a light in them. I remember that on my old Passat paddles do light up. 

No they do not have a light, you can see it in this video clip at night drive of the Mk4
