I’m a newbie here. I’ve read posts in the past but am compelled to join as I’m about to hit the 200k milestone!

More about that in another post 😊.

 

I drive a 2012 Octavia SE Estate. It’s frankly been the best car I’ve ever had. I bought it in 2016 with 59k on the clock from a dealer in Darlington. He said it was a show model and then his colleague bought it cause he liked it so much. Then traded it in for a new Skoda a few years later. I service it every 10k which is roughly twice a year…..I drive a lot for work etc.

200,000 Miles?! How have you managed not to ask a thousand questions, at least, here before? Looking forward to hearing more about that!

 

I'm another happy Octavia owner, mines a 2014 model, VRS 220 TSI, registered on 31 October 2013. I bought mine in 2016 too, but do far less mileage, in fact it’s now just over 68,000 now meaning I’ve done just 50,000 miles since Summer 2016.

Wow that’s good mileage. You’ll have that car forever. I’d like to get a VRS next if I don’t go down the company van route.
