Lost key fob

Featured Replies

Hi all - I got 3 keys when I bought my Octavia and one of them has been misplaced and I am concerned that someone now has a working key to my car.

is there any way to remove the missing key data from the car so it won’t unlock it??

I assume not and if that is the case how easy or hard is it to get the frequency changed so the missing key won’t work??

A dealer or someone with ODIS online should be able to...

You'll need both keys when they do it as it's a 'learn all keys' rather than 'remove missing key' kinda deal 👍

Does this have to be done at a Skoda dealer or any in the VAG??

I have no idea what ODIS online is - what is it?? Sorry for the dumb question I have just never heard of it

ODIS is the software VAG provide for their dealers. Independents can also use it but there monthly fees etc.

Each brand is a separate subscription so I'm not sure if 'any' dealer can do it or not I'm afraid.
