I currently own a Stage 2 tuned Skoda Laura (Gen2 Octavia) 2012 1.8 TSi motor. The brake booster along with the master cylinder needs to be replaced. But because of the tight space in the engine bay, the engine has to be removed in order the replace the Brake Booster. My question is will the tuning of the vehicle get affected if we remove the engine? Or do I need to remove the ECU couplers first? Thanks..

Disconnecting the battery, removing the wiring and disconnecting the ECU and removing the engine and then replacing and reconnecting everything is not going to change the Engine Management / map on the ECU.
