Skoda Superb Aircon Condenser replacement

Featured Replies

Hello. I have a 2017 Skoda Superb 1.6 SE Technology TDI Greenline and I need to replace the aircon condenser.

I'm in North London and I've been quoted £868.54 inc VAT at a local garage (quote below):

"3.0hr x £95.00+vat
Condenser £363.79+vat
R134a refrigerant £74.99+vat
TOTAL COST: £868.54 inc vat"

Does that sound steep to you? Any top advice about who else to try - but someone who is very VW/Skoda friendly?

Thanks very much for any help.

Which makes the labour rate seem "relatively normal". Similarly with the regas.

Part cost and labour time both sound high to me, particularly the former.

If you want to drop me a message I’m in north London. It’s something I’d be willing to to offer and can guarantee it’s much cheaper than £800!

or you can message my page on Facebook - Skoda Retrofits

Another edit for you: I also offer the rear view camera OEM retrofitting - being local to you its something that can all be done in 1 go!
