Hi all 

please can some help me before I go crazy .

Purchased some brand new genuine front and rear mudflaps off eBay, for my Octavia mk2 FL hatch. 
Thinking I’d save some money and bother driving 30 plus miles to my nearest dealer, how wrong was I. 
The purchased flaps didn’t have the fixings need to actually attach them to my car, and after a row with the seller and eBay not giving a toss despite the packaging showing images of the fixings I am alittle bit stuck. 
Does any one know where I can get these fixings so I can finally have them on my car

Don't the mudflaps use the existing fixings that hold the wheel arch liner and undertray on?

I don’t think they do but maybe wrong of course, any confirmation on this would be great.

I don't have an Octavia any more (now have a Kodiaq) but I'm almost 100% certain they use three existing screws...   Two on the sides and one underneath.  You just undo the existing screws, offer up the flap and align the holes on it and the car an refit the screws.

 

If you hold one up against the car in position it should be obvious.
