Unknown connector

Featured Replies

Whilst in the search for a phantom battery drain I came across this connector floating about in front of the radiator matrix on rhs facing… anyone know what it is and where it should be connected. There was nowhere obvious, thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I 'think' that's the external temperature sensor and should be clipped into the back of the grille / bumper somewhere

Did you not post this exact same question yesterday using a different identity and were given the same response?

No never posted before 😀

I think it is the air temp sender that has fallen out of its holder. Thanks for the quick reply.

Coincidence, so lightning can strike twice in the same place on successive days!

My apologies.

Of course, if I had bothered to search or read a bit I may have found it too. As it was I am getting a bit frustrated with a phantom battery drain issue… came across the dangling connector … took a photo joined  forum and posted all in a couple of minutes. Got an answer a short while later… The internet is truly awesome!!!
