When you turn on the auto high beam on your LED matrix headlights, do the central segments come on first and then the other segments fan out both sides? or does it just fan out one side?

 

Our superb has the amazing LED matrix headlights. We've recently had to have the lefthand unit replaced due to damage. I've not driven in the dark for a while but on Saturday night the beams only fanned out on the non-replaced side. I'm now doubting myself as to if it worked as i thought before and we have a fault or am i mistaken.

Quite possibly its  not been calibrated or set up correctly. Both sides should mirror each other in what they do.
