More Than

I see that 'More Than' the insurer are using a 55 Plate Octy in thier latest telly ad campaign. Nothing unusual in that you may think, but I wonder why they decided on a Skoda, don't think that would've happened a few years back?.

I do know one thing they came back to me with a quote of

Grrr, please don't talk about the company I work for. We have a six month claims backlog, and lucky has sadly passed away (confidential).

On a happier note, your first port of call is of course, INDIA!

And they won't cover modifications.

Even if said modifications are not performance enhancing.....17" rims and they didn't want to know. Goodness knows what would have happened if i told them about the remap....

Even then, the poor woman I spoke with couldn't get my NCB entitlement right......

I will not deal with foreign call centres when it comes to car insurance. When I had cruise control retro-fitted to the Octy it took me over 10 minutes to explain to Norwich Union Direct that it wasn't a "performance enhancing modification" and even then I was never completely sure they understood.

I can't afford to discover after an accident that I wasn't insured because I hadn't declared a modification. It's just too important to get wrong, I believe people who work in car insurance should at least have some basic knowledge about modern cars.

I agree, but fat chance. These people work off scripts.
