Hi everyone. I've joined because I've just bought a 67 plate Skoda Octavia vRS estate.

I've wanted one for a while so was delighted when I picked it up today. After getting it home and playing with some of the buttons, I we3to do the grocery shopping. Now Aldi is 2 miles from me yet I seem to have done a 60 mile round trip! I think I'm in love ❤️

I thoroughly enjoyed owning my vRS estate, and I also used to somehow overshoot the occasional turn on the way home/out

Hi again Hoping for some more good advice! Cam belt is at 40K ,5 years approx. I know there is a lot of controversy around timings of cam belt changes,and it seems the precautionary principle is the main view.Expensive principle but fair enough.I was having the belt changed because I could occasionally here a low rumble at tick over. Thinking tensioner pulley or something potentially very nasty. However,the rumble disappears when the clutch is pressed,and on my VW T4 I was told a new dual mass

Hi everyone, I’m a relatively new member here but I’ve been maintaining my 2004 Skoda Octavia Mk2 (1.9 TDI PD) as a "time capsule" with only 21,000 miles. It’s my only car, used for social/domestic/pleasure, and I’m looking for some advice on insuring it as an enthusiast/modern classic. Hello! I am looking for a direct SD card patch (FEC ALL / CID OFF) to unlock Smartlink and Carplay on my Skoda Bolero unit. Hi, I've got a weird powered tailgate issue on my Superb. If I press the interior button I can hear the lock release, but nothing happens after. If I press the button on the outside of the boot, the lock releases but nothing happens. If I press that button a few more times, I will eventually start rising but only to about half way. If I press the outside button again, it'll drop back down again but I have to press down on the boot to get it to do the final catch. The button on the inside o

Hi. I know there's a 'considering buying' forum but this is about an oldie so I thought this may be a better place to post...(a query for the long committed fans?)? I already have a 2005 Octavia Estate (1.9TDI PD105) and it is by a country mile the BEST car I have EVER owned. I bought it in 2013 for <£2.5k and apart from needing to do the clutch straight away it hasn't needed much over the 80k miles I've done in it since.
