Wheel Spacers on Non-Lowered Car

Featured Replies

Hi all. As the title suggests, I’m wondering if anyone has any pictures of there Mk3 with wheel spacers and not lowered. Ideally on 19s but would appreciate any input. Thanks

Been debating this for a long Time. I have 19s and although going to 235 profile tyres I think has helped the rear is still too inboard for my liking. If you speak to anyone who drives their car, especially on track they will tell you it'll ruin handling due to increasing scrub radius, etc. I'm never pushing my car that hard to worry.

Most put 15mm front and 20mm rear and this brings it more in line, however a few photos I have seen make it look too much up front still. Ive debated putting a mixture of sizes but anything less than 12mm on a hubcentric won't work due to the spigot depth I believe.  I think 12mm front and 15mm rear would make it look right without looking like you have gone for the super stanced look.

Have a look at the thread below, there is a blue VRS without lowering springs on the 15mm/20mm setup and it looks too much up front.
