Hi I'm connecting my phone via USB C to USB C to change and receiving "USB 2 overcharge detected" naturally phone won't charge. Anyone know the problem and have a solution please?

I think it depends on how much charge your phone tries to take as a rapid charge.

Sometimes the cable is not man enough to carry such a demand.

I have just returned a Usb 3.0 to 'C' cable as it was a data only cable, I now have a Charging AND Data cable capable of rapid charging.
