?Aftermarket adjustable or variable speed limiter with cruise control

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Apologies; unable to find anything upon searching the forum or the wider web for a Superb mark II aftermarket adjustable speed limiter. I can't find any specific products that do this for the superb mark II. The two generic products I've seen don't seem promising (but I shall investigate further). Does anyone know of any products that I could look at to install this function?

I've been offered a great price for a 2012 Superb 1.6 TDI CR DPF 77 kW CAYC (EA189). I have an adjustable/variable speed limiter as part of the cruise control on my current car, and I find it invaluable (I'm ashamed to say it's like owning a microwave - I know it isn't strictly necessary, but I now feel I can't get by without one!) . I use the adjustable speed limiter function in my driving every time I drive, and I don't use cruise control in its 'normal' mode at all.

The only aftermarket systems I can find that describe any sort of variable speed limiter function on their websites are the Lindgaard Pederson EC 80 control stalk (I presume their control modules have the function I describe, but they don't have the Superb listed in compatible vehicles for them), and the Liteon sl900ci for which I can't find compatibility information, but more annoyingly, the Liteon CM35 control stalk doesn't seem to have buttons for variable rate speed limiting.

Thanks for your consideration, and grateful for any steer anyone might have,

Al
