Return from Run To The Sun 2006, Newquay

Featured Replies

I have just returned from the Run To The Sun 2006 weekend in Newquay and am very tired.

The weekend as a whole was good despite the lack of sun. I was disappointed, however, that the car show was no better or more special than usual and if anything, not as good as previous years. It seems to be less and less of a VW show and more of a ****-my-ride event. I think the weather didn't entice enough people to come down this year so there wasn't as much effort on the cars as in previous years.

What did you think about it?

Black 04 vRS with vRS badge stuck over removed Skoda emblem? :P

Why didn't you stop to say Hi in the Texaco garage? :D a few minutes after you went there was also another yellow Fabia vRS there, and a tasty red octy vRS. :D

Sorry Devonutopia but that wasn't me. I didn't drive down in my Skoda and didn't visit a Texaco garage. It sounds like you had a mini-meet of your own.

In that case, I wonder who it was? they even beeped at me and waved after spotting me with my huge BRISKODA.net sticker facing them, but didn't stop. :)
