It looks a bit short to me to be really useful as it fits nearly flush with the filler hole.

I brought this to attention of Briskoda readers some 6 or 7 years ago...the anti fuel theft system is designed  to prevent  tubes being inserted to syphon your fuel...

Sadly this also prevents most funnels from entering the fuel filler neck..! Fuel station pumps are now of a similar shape...

I sourced the Ford funnel from a dealership for a couple of quid, and it works well.

When I took it to SKODA Salisbury they just shrugged and as usual, cared 'Diddly Squat'

 

Personally,  I think people should invest in one... Just insert the device, then the funnel, then lift your fuel can and pour.

I've  been unable to establish when the anti theft system came into being...
