Navigation/location sometimes goes crazy

Featured Replies

Hello

Last week I was doing a three hour drive in SE England, mostly on motorway. About an hour in to the journey, at a point when I hit some slow moving traffic (if relevant), on an urban A road, the satnav suddenly went completely haywire. Android Auto was connected, but switching to the car's own navigation also had the same effect: it seemed to think the car was in a different location and was trying to re-route continuously. It's a bit difficult to describe unless you've seen it.

This has happened at least once before.

Has anyone else had this happen or know the cause?

Thanks

Ess

I have experienced this twice when using Maps via Apple CarPlay.
