Hi, If I remove the battery in a 2014 Octavia MKIII, either to change or charge it does the Amundsen unit require a code to reactivate it?  I can't find a code in all the paperwork that came with the 2nd hand car - though I've got all original papers and can find nothing about a code in the Amundsen book.  Can I assume that it will all be fine if the battery is ever disconnected please.

Yeah it will be fine ,might have a few lights on the dash but they will reset in a min or two .

No, for many years now the infotainment units have remembered the VIN and if when the battery is reconnected the VIN (reported on the Infotainment CAN bus) is the same they don't ask for a code.
