I think today was my lucky day. I found the little f**ker!

Underneath the passenger seat is the control unit thing with the black plastic cover.

Ah right, good to know. Kind of explains the small fan and heatsink.

Thanks mate, it certainly has made a huge difference to the cabin ambience and my sanity. Now just need to sort out the creaking sunroof/roofliner 😂

It has been crimped but there is no cable inside so it was crimped onto a micro RG59 cable which is too small for that connector, when the cable was withdrawn it fell off as only the central core was being retained, that or the fitter realised his mistake and used your footwell as a rubbish bin.

That was my next guess! 😂. Well done OP, amazed you could hear that under the seat, under the carpet.

Seconded. You've clearly been hoying your superb into some corners to get that to move 😂

You'd be surprised to know that this was actually happening at all speeds, which was why I was so keen to get rid of it 🤯 Maybe because it was inside a home made of hard plastics, that may have enhanced the sound somewhat.

Have attached a recording (if the forum will allow it to be uploaded) that was taken at approx. 20-30 kph while turning the steering wheel back and forth. That recorded on my phone sitting on the centre console.

Wow, that is loud, and very annoying.

I had a screw or nut under the floor in my Kia Stinger for a while.  It was very annoying.

The Master Tech found it when he took my interior apart to try (and fail) to fix the creaking sunroof.

I wish you luck with your roof! 86D7C8E1-D140-4173-A7BF-78EBD0A33A3E.thumb.jpeg.bd015753604ed3e17d068bb19b3f6418.jpeg
