Does anyone know the answer to this mystery. Like most VW group cars, if you press and hold the lock /  unlock button on the key fob, the windows will open or close.

The manual tells you this, but says it applies to all 4 windows.

On my car, 90% of the time, it only opens / closes the front windows. The other 10% of the time, it does all the windows.

 

I've tried multiple presses, long holds, odd combinations, cannot seem to make all 4 windows open on command.

Have you activated the child lock for the rear windows?

Good suggestion, but unfortunatly not. I've checked that now and behaviour is the same.

 

 

I noticed the same thing on mine the other day, I’m sure it opened all 4 earlier in the year but now it only does the fronts. I assumed there was some setting that I had wrong but maybe not if you’ve already tried stuff.

Maybe a software issue….?
