Unable to choose service partner in app

I've got my app all set up with the car and can find the dealer I wish to choose, but the button in greyed out so I can't select it. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks

I reckon you’d need to create and log in to a Škoda account (but you probably did that anyway to set your user in the car).

 

It may be that you need to be set up as the Primary User of the car/app. If so, then you’d need to get a dealer to do that and they’ll need proof of ID and ownership as it enables vehicle tracking (and all the privacy implications of that).

 

Other than that, I’m stumped.

You need the dealer to configure part of it for you. I had to give them photo ID, my VIN and email address used in the app. Afterwards everything worked OK including remote lock/unlock and car positioning.

Ill tell you now, youre doing yourself a favor by not setting it up.

 

I set mine up and then changed it when I moved, im still inundated with phone calls once a month or so asking me to book my car in with them. Ive told them to delete my records but they keep calling. I never used them, just put them as my local dealer on the app.

Might just be my experience though

Does your dealer have a collection service, why not play along and book it in if they will collect and then give them your new address miles away.   Then point out you told them months ago you had moved.

 

Yep a nice dent in their wallet for their ignorance.
