Off side DRL not working and Indicator intermittent fault.

Featured Replies

I have a 2014 MK2 Superb L&K estate with LED DRL to the side of the headlight unit. At the start of the week and error pinged up on the maxi dot to check right side DRL. When i restarted the car it had gone, only for it to come on again the next time i used the car. On checking the light was out, then the next time the light was flashing on and off. On Wednesday it then threw in a Front right indicator warning as well. This has now become and intermittent problem with it working some times and then failing mid journey. I have turned the DRL off to stop this problem, but every time i check back there is still a fault with them. In any other car i would suspect a bulb, but don't thing that is the case with these units.

Any one had this issue before or got any ideas what may be causing the issue.

Thanks in advance for any advice and help.

Time for a scan I would say.  Check list for a local user that can plug in.

Place your bets, you probably have a broken wire I'm afraid.

CANBus issue; I've seen similar faults on other makes too.

Just to update the thread, local dealer identified the problem as the sensor behind the headlight  unit. ( not sure if this is referred to as a CANBus unit or not). It was a front bumper off job to access fittings!
