Featured Replies

i am looking for a paper manual for a 2012 superb 2.0tdi  as i will be doing a timing belt change on mine soon . is one available ? if not how good are the haynes electronic ones ?

erWin Skoda, you can download the PDF files, which you can then print off page(s) as needed.

Price of 2 beers, not too bad really (get VIN to hand)

I’d give a dealer a ring for a price.

when mine needed done it was about £380 for parts from Tps

£460 from dealer

wasn’t worth the hassle me doing it but that was four years ago

I’ll probably end up doing mine by myself next time also.

Only thing am not sure about is the cam and injection pump bolts if you have to replace them. Sure it’s torque then angle.

would use the old ones 1st till I knew the timing was right then swap one by one

which timing/locking set you ordered ?

If you're not sure, replace them. They're not that expensive compared to the cost of the repair if they fail.

erWin Skoda is 7 Euro for the download PDF's, but if you have the information now, then all is good.

this one i have online for as long as i need it . it can be seen on any device i am using with a password . it was probably my computer skills that messed the erWin up for me . the timing belt change was all going ok until i discovered the new tensioner was faulty now waiting for a replacement to arrive .
