Skoda Fabia 2006 just purchased

Featured Replies

Hi Guys great forum cant wait to start using this over the next few months, Ive just purchased a Skoda Fabio 1.2 2006 for my sons 18th,we will be carrying out some jobs on it in over the coming months, which includes some body work electrical issues and general servicing, however before we start purchasing i would like to know how i can confirm that its a mk1,i'm also after the correct colour match as the sticker inside the front drivers door has been removed. any help would be appreciated

Welcome.

It can only be a Fabia  and a Mk1 as they were called a Mk1 once there were Mk2's but not till there were a 2nd generation Fabia but that was in 2007.

?

Is there no sticker in the spare tyre well?     Maybe post up a picture of the car.

Use the chassis number. More generally, the full build options sticker should be on the boot floor.

New post, or even posts, please. The number of posts you can make is effectively infinite (vis my 36_900), and it's easier to follow posts with one subject each.

Skoda Graphite Grey 9901, 2003-2007.

thanks guys I'm not sure if i should use the coded rattle cans or use my spray gun with basecoat and lacquer, surely the cans pre mixed will be suitable ?

If doing arches, sills etc then i would be using the gun, but then i was a car sprayer.
