Front grille intakes Fabia vrs

Featured Replies

When I was washing the car this morning (seagulls around here are a problem!) I noticed that one of air intakes next to the foglamps is blocked off. The offside is open but the nearside is closed. I have the feeling that both should be open but as I have not been able to check out another Fabia vrs I don't know if only one open is normal. I got it from the factory 24 April this year and it is great fun to drive!

I'm sure a Furby owner will be along to explain in detail at some point, but I believe that the o/s is open as it allows (all be it not enough) air to the side mounted intercooler.

Therefore the nearside is purely asthetic.

I believe that there are plenty of threads on here about opening up the o/s grill to allow a greater flow of air.

Yep - Pretty much covered it.

There is a small hole in the nearside for the air temp sender.

I'm quite impressed as I don't even have a Fabia, just goes to show how much you really can learn on this site.:)
