Octavia 2015 Map Update Issue

Featured Replies

Just attempted to update my old maps to the latest update version and after deleting the old maps the new map almost finishes loading and at the very last minute says the card is full and it cant be completed.

The card is a Skoda 8GB card.

I tried a 16GB non Skoda card and this wasn't recognised by the system, which is the Amunsden version 1.

Skoda are worse than useless at providing information, so wondered if anyone here has a solyion that doesn't involve paying out £100 plus for a new Skoda card.

Can you show a picture of exactly how many bytes are on your card.

Also which map file did you try to load onto it?

I used a 6.7GB compressed map that when unpacked should fit.

Sent a link to exact file I used, have to let us know how you get on.

No user card will work for maps, needs a matching CID.

Mine has the latest and final update (Skoda no longer provide new updates for the Amunsden 1) and it fits onto my original 8GB card.

A 2015 Octavia could have either a MIB1 or a MIB2 AMundsen depending on the production date.

So first thing is to check which maps you need, easiest way is to visit the Skoda update wbesite and enter your VIN.

As it's an Amundsen you need a genuine Skoda SD card, there's no need to pay SKoda prices as they are on eBay for a lot less.

Try RUSTYNUTS on this site, he sorted me with a new card and with everything downloaded on it.
